The American Feed Industry Insurance Company (AFIIC) began operations as a Risk Retention Group on July 1, 1987 and continued providing a specialized liability insurance program for animal feed manufacturers and affiliated suppliers through December 31, 2009.  AFIIC ceased writing new or renewal business on January 1, 2009.
